Warn Industries, the iconic manufacturer of off-road equipment, needed to accommodate 50 more employees in its administrative offices.
DESIGN+BUILD re-designed the existing 20,000 sf of office space to fit the growing operations and provided a mix of new meeting spaces and flexible work areas.
The finished design style also fit the company’s request to match its “tough” and industrial brand. One highlight: shipping containers incorporated into the layout, to create both unexpected and efficient meeting areas.
SEKO is an award-winning global logistics provider located in NE Portland. The challenge they faced was needing to relocate their rapidly growing import team.
DESIGN+BUILD helped SEKO transform the unused corners of their massive warehouses to accommodate the additional employees while staying within the strict budget allowance.
Understanding that natural light was important, our team designed a ceiling feature to bring day light down from the high warehouse windows. This made the interior spaces of the warehouse brighter, creating more useable and attractive areas for staff within the client’s existing facility.
In this DESIGN+BUILD project, the client wanted to improve employee comfort and the quality of its work environment. With an eye on budget, the redesign focused on key common areas, with an upgrade and expansion of the restroom, breakroom, and cafeteria space.
The cafeteria size increased by 25%, and the restroom by 50%. The renovation also introduced a new, vibrant color palette, creative employee dining bars, and an overall clean-line and modern atmosphere that the employees love.
Stepping a little outside out typical scope of work, DESIGN+BUILD was approached and asked to design this dental office. Specializing in pediatric dental, our designers chose a soft and comforting pallet while maintaining a clean and simple esthetic.
Seattle based Foss corporation was facing a challenge to consolidate dispatch teams up and down the west coast to bring them together in one location. DESIGN+BUILD worked with the Foss leadership to create an inspiring space for the increased dispatch team as well as additional offices for future growth. The end result is 20,000 sqft of interior spaces that are brighter, more useable and attractive.

The business facility and office interiors were older and run down, and the less-than-ideal work environment was affecting the moral and productivity of current employees.
